     PETCO is committed to providing a reasonably practicable working environment that is safe and without risk to health to all its employees, contractors and others through the effective implementation of this HSE Policy.

Petrolines aspirations are simply stated:
“No accidents, No harm to people, and No damage to the environment.” Petrolines will:
• Systematically manage its operating activities to continuously reduce risk and deliver performance improvement.
• Consult, listen and respond openly to its employees, contractors, neighbors, and stakeholders, to ensure the input of all employees and contractors are included in the decision making processes impacting on workplace health and safety.
• Formally identify, assess and mitigate health and safety hazards and risks.
• Ensure that its Leadership takes responsibility for taking immediate action to remove safety hazards when they are identified and reported.
• Work with its suppliers, and regulators to aim to achieve.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, Standards, Codes of Practice, best practice, instruction and training to be able to comply with those requirements.
• Ensure all Leadership and Staff are provided with information, instruction and training on Petrolines HSE policies and procedures and that all interested parties have access to the HSE policy.
• Develop and implement training programs to improve HSE skills and knowledge requirements of employees and disseminate HSE information to all employees, contractors, and others to the workplace.
• To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training.
• To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
• Continually strive to improve HSE performance by establishing clear and measurable objectives and targets, auditing, reviewing, monitoring and reporting performance (both good and bad) and recognizing those who contribute positively to improvement.
• Provide employees with the appropriate equipment and facilities to undertake their duties in a professional and safe manner.
• Ensure that the HSE Policy remains relevant and appropriate to PETROLINES by requiring periodic review in line with Management review procedures.
• Reduce impact on the environment through pollution prevention, reduction of natural resource consumption and emissions.
